Community Health Needs Assessment and Improvement Plan

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) requires non-profit hospitals such as Jackson County Regional Health Center , to conduct a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) for our community.  The purpose of the health needs assessment is to identify the top health needs and develop a plan to proactively address them.

Jackson County Regional Health Center has partnered with Jackson County Public Health and Genesis Health System to identify the major health and socioeconomic issues that affect the region that Jackson County Regional Health Center serves.
