Your Community's Health Foundation

Jackson County Health Foundation Foundation

Mission Statement

The Jackson County Health Foundation exists to promote and support the Jackson County Regional Health Center in providing life-sustaining health care. Through philanthropic (financial) support, the Foundation will help to sustain programs and services essential to our community's health and well-being.

The Foundation's long-range goal is to help fund programs and service areas that are essential to the health of our community. The Foundation does this by providing financial support through the procurement and management of gifts, bequests and grants.

The Jackson County Health Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 1981 by business and community leaders to encourage financial support for Jackson County Regional Health Center and select community health initiatives.

A community board of directors provides direction for long range planning, encouragement of gifts, and guardianship of gift funds. The Foundation's overall intent is to support a strong local healthcare system and to improve/enhance the health of the communities we serve through the identification and support of specific healthcare needs.

The Foundation encourages gifts through a variety of means including special events (annual golf outing), memorial, annual and planned giving. Through the support of the community, the Foundation is able to fund equipment, scholarships and services to patients, employees and members of the community.

The Foundation is an IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. If you wish to make a donation or would like more information, please contact:

Donor Recognition

The Foundation greatly appreciates our donors' generosity. One of the ways we intend to show our appreciation is through a planned donor wall. Donors will be recognized at their current level through a hospital newsletter or publication in the local newspaper. The current levels are:
