Dr. Amit Bahia received his Medical Degree at Bangalore Medical College, Bangalore, India in 2000. He went on to earn a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2002. In 2005, Dr. Bahia completed his Internal Medicine Residency and in 2015, his Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship, both at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. His Interventional Cardiology Fellowship was completed in 2016 at the University of California. Dr. Bahia continued on to complete a Fellowship in Endovascular and Structural Intervention at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston in 2017.
Dr. Bahia joined Cardiovascular Medicine in July 2022. He is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography and Vascular & Endovascular Medicine. He is licensed to practice in Iowa and Illinois and is available for outpatient consultations and follow-up visits at the Davenport and Maquoketa locations. He has staff privileges at Genesis Medical Centers and UnityPoint Health Trinity.
